The Rapid Support Forces (RSF) have accused General al-Burhan’s forces (SAF) and its security services of fabricating statements and videos to create the illusion of military successes.
In a recent statement, the RSF declared that only official communications from their own channels should be trusted, dismissing reports and social media posts from other sources as lies intended to promote false victories for SAF leader General Abdel Fattah al-Burhan’s forces.
The RSF further claimed that Burhan’s camp has revived the tactics of the security apparatus, which has a history of producing fabricated content.
They specifically criticized the alleged creation of fake videos and speeches by the Sudanese intelligence services, attempting to mislead the public with fabricated claims of RSF activity and leadership.
According to the RSF, these so-called “victories” are nothing more than rumors designed to demoralize the opposition. The statement emphasized that such “cheap lies” would not affect the RSF’s resolve, as they continue to push forward with unity and determination until Sudanese state institutions are reestablished on just grounds.
This accusation comes amidst claims from pro-SAF social media pages suggesting the SAF had gained ground in Khartoum Bahri, including areas like Shambat, Kafouri, and Al-Ezba.
However, military experts monitoring the situation reported no clashes in these neighborhoods, with fighting actually taking place near army-controlled sites in Al-Halfaya and Al-Samrab.
