The Rapid Support Forces (RSF) have reaffirmed their commitment to delivering critical humanitarian aid to millions of Sudanese citizens suffering from famine despite obstructions by Al Burhan’s army and its allies.
“This catastrophe has been exacerbated by a brutal conflict instigated by the corrupt and authoritarian former regime,” stated the RSF.
The RSF accused Al Burhan’s army (SAF) and allied mercenary factions, particularly those under Mini Arko Minawi, of plundering Sudan’s resources.
Minawi, described as an unscrupulous mercenary leader, has been accused of spreading lies about the looting of humanitarian aid.
“These fabrications are nothing more than a desperate attempt to cover up the humiliating defeats his mercenaries have suffered,” the RSF claimed.
The RSF accused that Minawi, in alliance with the Islamic Movement, aims to restore oppressive rule over Sudan.
“Minawi is the chief architect behind the theft of famine relief funds, diverting aid to supply his mercenary forces,” the RSF stated.
Large quantities of humanitarian assistance are reportedly hoarded in Minawi’s warehouses, according to the RSF.
Mercenaries use UN to cover up its atrocities
The RSF also accused Minawi’s mercenaries of wearing bulletproof vests with UN insignia, calling it an insult to humanitarian principles.
“Minawi and those like him have no legitimacy, no right, and no moral authority to represent the people of Darfur,” the RSF said.
The RSF remains steadfast in their mission to protect and serve the people of Sudan, pledging to continue coordinating with humanitarian organizations.
“We will ensure the safe and timely delivery of aid to those who need it most,” the RSF promised.
The RSF vowed to stand against those who exploit and destroy the country, promising that the crimes of mercenaries like Minawi will not go unanswered.
