RSF claims major victories in strategic Sudanese regions

The Rapid Support Forces (RSF) announced significant military victories over General al-Burhan’s forces (SAF) and allied armed groups in multiple strategic regions across Sudan.

In a statement released on Sunday, the RSF highlighted their recent advances in North Darfur, West Kordofan, South Kordofan, and White Nile states, underscoring the importance of these territorial gains.

Over the past two days, the RSF declared the liberation of the key city of Umm Kadada in North Darfur, which included the capture of the 24th Brigade of the 6th Infantry Division’s command. Additionally, the RSF reported taking control of the desert areas of El-‘Atrun and Al-Raheb in North Darfur, as well as Umm ‘Adara in West Kordofan and Khor Al-Dalib in South Kordofan.

Other victories included the defeat of enemy forces in Omdurman and Al-Halba in the White Nile state.

In their statement, the RSF attributed these successes to the determination and resilience of their forces, emphasizing the broader strategic goal of liberating Sudan and establishing a new, just foundation for the country.

The RSF also urged the public to ignore what they described as false reports and rumors spread by media outlets aligned with the SAF and the Islamic Movement (Sudanese Muslim Brotherhood). These media outlets, according to the RSF, have attempted to fabricate claims of victories that have not materialized on the ground.

The RSF further called on their forces to remain vigilant and resolute in the face of disinformation campaigns, urging strict action against those attempting to undermine morale or spread false news.

The statement concluded with a tribute to the RSF’s fallen fighters, emphasizing their commitment to achieving victory and rebuilding Sudan in a way that ensures freedom, peace, and justice for all its citizens.
