RSF claims no battlefield losses, calls movements strategic

The Rapid Support Forces (RSF) have dismissed any claims of battlefield losses, asserting that their movements across Sudan are part of a calculated military strategy.

In a statement released on Thursday, the Sudanese group declared, “Our forces have never lost a battle; rather, they have strategically repositioned and expanded across the battlefronts to secure their military objectives.”

The RSF framed its ongoing conflict with General al-Burhan’s army (SAF) as an existential struggle, vowing to dismantle what it described as “forces of darkness” linked to the Islamic Movement.

The group accused its adversaries of oppressing Sudanese citizens and pledged to continue fighting until their “strongholds” were destroyed.

The statement further claimed that the RSF’s military actions were aimed at securing peace, stability, and a future in which Sudanese citizens could enjoy freedom and prosperity.

The war between the RSF and SAF has plunged Sudan into further turmoil, with both sides claiming territorial gains while civilians bear the brunt of the violence.
