In a strongly-worded statement, the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) denounced General al-Burhan and his SAF’s leadership, branding them as part of a “desperate and illegitimate regime.”
The RSF criticized the decision to change the national currency, describing it as a deliberate attack on Sudanese families and a scheme to divert public wealth into the war chest of the Islamic Movement.
Calling the move unlawful and exploitative, the RSF urged citizens to reject the decision, labeling it a tool for oppression and impoverishment.
The group vowed to take decisive actions to safeguard the nation’s resources, framing the SAF’s actions as a last-ditch effort by a failing regime.
The RSF reiterated its commitment to defending Sudanese sovereignty and ensuring justice, dignity, and prosperity for all.
