RSF declares victory in Sudan’s Sennar against Burhan’s army

The Rapid Support Forces (RSF) announced on Thursday that they have successfully captured the town of Suki in Sennar State following intense clashes with General Burhan’s army, allied militias and the Islamic Movement.

In a statement, the RSF said to have inflicted heavy losses on the opposing forces, including the neutralization of over 150 combatants and the destruction of multiple vehicles.

The RSF also seized 21 fully equipped vehicles and a C5 cannon, along with a large cache of weapons and ammunition.

Dozens of enemy combatants were captured, according to the RSF, with authorities stating they are actively pursuing those who managed to flee the area.

The RSF reiterated its commitment to ending the ongoing conflict and building a new Sudan based on the principles of freedom, justice, and democracy.

The group emphasized its goal of establishing a unified national army to protect the country and its citizens.
