RSF denies bombing education office in Dilling

The Rapid Support Forces (RSF) on Wednesday denied allegations that its fighters shelled an education office and a school in the town of Dilling, South Kordofan State, dismissing the reports as “fabricated” and politically motivated.

In a statement dated February 11, 2026, the RSF said it had no involvement in any attack targeting civilian educational facilities in the city, also known as Al-Dalang. The group accused elements aligned with the Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF) of orchestrating what it described as a coordinated disinformation campaign.

The RSF alleged that the SAF, which it claimed operates under the influence of the Muslim Brotherhood and allied militias, was attempting to tarnish its reputation by spreading false accusations of violations against civilians and public institutions.

“We completely deny the false allegations promoted by certain news agencies, which falsely accuse our forces of shelling an education office and a school,” the statement read. “These narratives are entirely fabricated and baseless.”

The Sudanese group warned media outlets against publishing what it called “black propaganda” and urged journalists to conduct independent verification before disseminating claims related to the ongoing conflict.

The RSF further stated that it would pursue “all necessary legal and media measures” to counter what it described as systematic misinformation targeting the group.

The conflict between the RSF and the SAF has been marked by repeated accusations and counter-accusations, with both sides blaming each other for attacks on civilian infrastructure across Sudan’s conflict-affected regions, including South Kordofan.
