RSF enforces stringent directives for effective relief distribution

Sudan’s Rapid Support Forces (RSF) on Tuesday reiterated its unwavering dedication to facilitating the delivery of relief supplies and subsidies to both urban and rural areas under its jurisdiction.

RSF is “steadfast in our commitment to cooperation on humanitarian issues and actively seek to engage in constructive dialogue to optimize the distribution of relief to citizens,” the group said.

RSF said that there are no impediments preventing the entry of humanitarian organizations, as outlined in previously agreed-upon terms for relief distribution and deployment.

Sudanese group added that it would ensure the protection and facilitation of relief efforts and that its forces are fully prepared to meet all necessary requirements to support these endeavors.

The RSF Command has issued strict field guidelines to officers and troops, ensuring commitment to efficiently delivering vital relief materials and subsidies to citizens, the group’s statement read.

“We also continue to caution against attempts by the opposing forces — the hijacked Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF) leadership and its extremist allied militias linked to the former regime — to use humanitarian operations as a means to withhold aid from citizens in areas beyond their control,” RSF said.

Sudanese group also urged the international community and organizations to accelerate the delivery of humanitarian aid to the hundreds of thousands of individuals facing urgent needs.
