RSF offers final evacuation chance to SAF and allies in El Fasher

The Rapid Support Forces (RSF) have issued a final call to General al-Burhan’s army (SAF) and their allied jihadist armed movements in El Fasher, offering them a chance to safely evacuate the city.

In a statement released Wednesday, the RSF emphasized its commitment to preventing further bloodshed and protecting lives.

The RSF declared, “In an effort to prevent bloodshed and save lives, we sincerely appeal to all armed members of the Sudanese Armed Forces and the Joint Forces to evacuate the city of El Fasher safely. Our forces will secure safe exit corridors and guarantee the safety of those who choose to surrender and lay down their arms.”

The statement continued by acknowledging that many SAF and Joint Forces personnel are victims of the policies of deception and misinformation spread by the Islamist Movement, which has controlled the Sudanese military for decades.

The RSF pledged to treat all those who surrender with dignity and reaffirmed their commitment to a peaceful resolution based on humanitarian and national principles.

Additionally, the RSF confirmed that they would continue to open safe corridors for civilians wishing to leave El Fasher, as they have already facilitated the evacuation of thousands to secure areas.

The group also committed to ensuring the protection of these civilians and the delivery of humanitarian aid.
