RSF urges international aid amid Sudan’s dual crisis

The Rapid Support Forces (RSF) has issued a plea for international assistance to address the humanitarian crisis.

Sudan’s fighting force urged on early Thursday in a statement the United Nations, European Union, African Union, and other international bodies to provide immediate aid to those affected by the floods and famine.

The Sudanese people are grappling with a devastating double blow with widespread floods and a deepening famine.

Heavy rains have ravaged much of the country, displacing thousands and claiming hundreds of lives.

Meanwhile, the ongoing conflict and economic turmoil have exacerbated an already dire food crisis in regions like Darfur and Kordofan.

The RSF also condemned the actions of al Burhan’s army (SAF) and its allies, accusing them of prolonging the conflict and squandering national resources.

The RSF called on the international community to hold these groups accountable for their crimes against the Sudanese people.

As the country faces an uncertain future, the RSF remains committed to working towards a peaceful and democratic Sudan.

The Force also called on all Sudanese citizens to unite and rebuild their nation together.
