
A routine journey turned into a scene of chaos when a passenger vehicle overturned near Jebel Issa in North Darfur, injuring 22 people.
The vehicle flipped completely as passengers travelled towards a nearby farming area, throwing people into a violent crash that left victims suffering severe fractures and deep lacerations.
Thirteen injured passengers were rushed to Al-Malha Rural Hospital, where medical staff treated five people with critical injuries.
Among the injured was local emergency responder Anwar Musa Ibrahim Suleiman, who suffered a severe bone fracture in the crash.
Emergency teams and hospital staff continue to monitor the survivors as they recover from the devastating accident.
