Sudan’s Sun Air to resume flights from Port Sudan

The board of directors of Sun Air airline has announced resuming its flights once again. The Chairman of the Board, Captain Saif al-Din Marzouk, stated that the flights will resume at the end of September, starting from Port Sudan to Cairo, Jeddah, Riyadh, and Dubai.

During his statement, Marzouk emphasized that the company will strive to offer ticket prices at the lowest possible costs to alleviate the burden on its customers.

Sudan’s civil aviation authorities have decided to open the eastern airspace for global navigation on August 15th.

This announcement comes as the Egyptian Ministry of Civil Aviation has recently announced that EgyptAir will operate its first direct flight from Cairo to Port Sudan starting September 1st.
