The Sudan Founding Alliance (TASIS) on Sunday accused General al-Burhan’s SAF of carrying out a drone strike on a major medical facility in West Darfur, killing civilians and injuring others.
In a statement, TASIS said the Al-Sultan Medical Complex in El Geneina was hit on April 19, resulting in the deaths of three civilians and wounding at least one more, with assessments and relief efforts still ongoing.
The group described the attack as part of what it called a continued pattern of targeting healthcare infrastructure, alleging that medical facilities and personnel have been deliberately struck amid the ongoing conflict.
TASIS said such actions amount to war crimes and crimes against humanity, calling on Sudanese civilian actors and the international community to take a firm stance.
“Silence only encourages perpetrators to persist,” the statement said.
The alliance also reaffirmed its political stance, saying it would continue efforts toward what it described as a new Sudan based on “peace, freedom, justice, and equality.”
