TASIS-claimed drone strike hits security compound, kills SAF general

A senior SAF officer, Maj. Gen. Abu Ubaida Fadlallah, was killed on Tuesday in a drone strike that hit the General Intelligence Service compound in Kafouri, Khartoum North, a military source told the local outlet Idraak. The source blamed the attack on the Sudan Founding Alliance (TASIS).

The source described Fadlallah as a prominent figure of the Islamic Movement within the SAF and said he previously served as Sudan’s military attaché in Ethiopia.

The strike also targeted buildings and weapons depots in Khartoum North, causing heavy casualties and damaging military equipment, the source added. The SAF has not issued a statement on the incident.
