Two brothers accused of killing father in Khartoum after haircut dispute

A man was allegedly stabbed to death by his two sons following a family dispute over a haircut in Khartoum’s Al-Thawra district, local sources said on Sunday.

The incident reportedly occurred inside the family home in Al-Thawra’s District 68. The victim became involved in an argument with his sons, aged 12 and 17, during a discussion about cutting their hair.

The disagreement escalated into a physical confrontation, during which the father was stabbed with a knife. He later died from his injuries.

Police have launched an investigation and opened a criminal case at the relevant police station in Al-Hatana.

People close to the family claimed that the two brothers had experienced family difficulties and psychological instability. Authorities have not confirmed whether these circumstances played a role in the killing.

The investigation remains ongoing.
