Dagalo brings new travel measures against infiltration

Commander Mohamed Hamdan Dagalo has introduced strict new travel restrictions for political and executive officials operating within his civilian administration.

Under these unwritten directives, all personnel linked to the governing structure must now obtain explicit official permission before travelling, both inside Sudan and beyond its borders.

The measures come in response to possible infiltrations from Burhan’s army-aligned authorities, as divisions deepen across the country.

Sudan’s conflict, now entering its fourth year, continues to fracture territorial control and reshape the balance of power on the ground.

Sources say a quiet but steady exit of administrative figures has weakened the group’s regional authority and fuelled growing internal mistrust.

In a recent development, security forces detained several civil officials in South Darfur who were allegedly attempting to flee towards South Sudan.

The new restrictions have reportedly been circulated across states and local administrations, tightening control over movement and travel.
