Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov stated on Saturday that preparations are underway for a conversation between Russian President Vladimir Putin and his U.S. counterpart.
Russian news agencies quoted Peskov’s confirmation following a social media post by the U.S. leader.
The post indicated that he intends to speak with Putin on Monday, and subsequently with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy and various NATO members.
