
Amid the escalating crisis in Sudan and its widening regional impact, Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi met senior US presidential adviser Massad Boulos in Cairo to discuss the latest developments.
Talks focused on the situation on the ground in Sudan and explored possible ways to bring an end to the ongoing war as quickly and peacefully as possible.
According to the Egyptian presidency, both sides stressed the need to intensify regional and international efforts to ease the worsening humanitarian crisis across the country.
President Sisi reaffirmed Egypt’s consistent position, emphasising the importance of preserving Sudan’s unity and sovereignty, while firmly rejecting any external interference.
The meeting also comes as part of Egypt’s broader diplomatic efforts to coordinate with the United States and support stability in the region.
