The Rapid Support Forces (RSF) condemned the brutal massacre in Allouba, a village south of El-Obeid, carried out by General al-Burhan’s army (SAF), Al-Baraa Ibn Malik Brigade, and Islamic Brigades.
Entire families were slaughtered by SAF personnel in what the RSF described as a deliberate act of ethnic violence.
In a statement, the RSF accused members of the SAF, operating under the Islamic Movement, along with the Al-Bara bin Malik Brigades, of committing horrific atrocities, targeting innocent civilians—including women, children, and the elderly—based solely on their tribal and geographic identity.
“This crime is part of a broader, coordinated effort designed to fragment Sudanese society along ethnic lines. It reflects an escalating strategy aimed at ethnic cleansing and mass annihilation,” the RSF stated.
The RSF argued that the attack in Allouba was not an isolated incident but a well-planned operation, carried out under political cover and accompanied by official silence. The forces called the massacre a “war crime and crime against humanity” with no statute of limitations.
They also blamed SAF leader Abdel Fattah al-Burhan and his militias for the atrocity.
In their statement, the RSF expressed their solidarity with the Al-Hawazma tribe, the main victims of the attack, and demanded accountability for all perpetrators. They urged the international community and human rights organizations to take stronger actions, rejecting the “silence and double standards” on Sudan’s ongoing humanitarian crisis.
The RSF vowed to continue their fight for justice, freedom, and human dignity, pledging to stand against all who contribute to the bloodshed of innocents.
