The Rapid Support Forces (RSF) have firmly denied reports claiming that they were engaged in negotiations with General al-Burhan’s army (SAF), stating there are “no negotiations, neither secret nor public,” with any extremist groups.
In a statement released on Monday, the RSF rejected what they called “false news” being spread about potential talks with insurgents, reaffirming their unwavering position against what they termed “remnants and extremists.”
The RSF emphasized that their battle against these forces was definitive, with no room for compromise.
“The fight against these corrupt factions is decisive,” the statement read. “We are committed to uprooting them entirely, in adherence to our principles and in honor of the blood of our martyrs, fulfilling our promise to the Sudanese people in both urban and rural areas.”
The RSF reiterated that their forces remain resolute in their mission to dismantle the “terrorist regime,” declaring that there would be “no negotiations, no retreat,” until the regime is eradicated once and for all.
The statement concluded with a tribute to the fallen, expressing gratitude and remembrance for the martyrs of the RSF.
